Hey Guys, I just started to install a new Kicker Amp to power my infinity reference speakers.

I do have a couple questions though. For you guys that have done this, how did you run the wire from the speaker to the amp? I started to put them through the rubber boot but realized it might be a tight fit.

I just wanted to get some ideas before I go and break something!

Thanks

The fronts are easy as hell. If it seems tight, spray some glass cleaner on the wires as you feed them through. As far as the rear goes, I notched the side of the connecter and slid the wires through on the side of the door connecter. Ive heard some some people drilling the whole through the connecter and sliding it through.

to make things easier you can unhook the plastic boots from the door and frame for better access, then i tape the wires to a hanger and slid them through, the rears are tougher though but i was able to run mine right through an existing slot it the plastic connectors

What I've done in past for door speakers is duct tape the speaker wire to the tipe of a coat hanger, bend as required and feed through. Takes a bit of work, but it'll do it safely.

My $.02, hope it helps.

Hey Guys, I finally got all the wires pulled and all my interior back in. Thing sounds great to! I'll post some pics up tomorrow afternoon.

BTW, I found if you use some grease on the grab tool (Thing that has a claw on the end and you can open and close it) That works very well for this.
