Currently have my Tahoe for sale and plan on getting my dads 12 Denali. I'm really wanting to run a set of 26's but don't want to beat the metal behind the front fender wells like I did on my old NNBS Tahoe. Will a 295/30 26x10 +30mm rim clear or will it still need the big hammer mod? It's at stock height and will NOT be lowered whatsoever?

Second question is tires. I know with 26's you have cheap tires and high dollar tires and no in between like 24's and smaller tires. What name brand tires would be good that will actually balance out and ride good besides going with Pirelli?

Thanks,
DW

Probably still need to bang in the front back inner fender a lil. The lexani lx nine is a good not so expensive tire. They were recommended to me here and I am happy with them on NYC streets.

The 295 will be better than a 305 for sure.
I have had Falken, Pirelli and now Lexani. My next set will be Lexani again. I think they are the best bang for the buck.

that offset you will be fine. I have no issues with my Lexani tires and go with 395

Thanks for the replies! So I should be fine with the +30 offset and shouldn't have to mod or beat anything in? What series Lexanis are you running? Any steering wheel shimmy or vibrations/tire noise?
