I think this Platinum wheel is quite classy, pretty, and has a sophisticated look, nothing gaudy.

Some personal observations about a "capped" wheel, versus one with exposed lug-lug holes.

A center capped wheel has the advantage of easing cleaning, as I know I can spend an hour's time easy, just cleaning lugs, and around lug nuts.

Two, center cap can hide mounting-dismounting damage, and this easily happens if your careless, or some goon at the tire shop carelessly slaps wheels on and off doing a simple rotation, and/or chews the living shit out of a lug hole wih an Impact Gun-Socket.

Disadvantage of center caps. Many, even on very expensive wheels are usually nothing more than chromed plastic. I know that there are many OEM Wheels that are not though. The plastic Caps, which have an anti-theft screw, tighten a little bit too much, and crack, you'll crack the cap at the screw hole.

Now while I really like these Platinum Wheels a lot, one major drawback in my opinion, is it appears there is no provision for a locking center cap, meaning the first person who likes your sweet caps robs them in a matter of a few second's time. I find this typical of most, if not all OEM type-style wheels.

Ive yet had that happen no one has ever called me back to get new caps but im sure has happened so someone.

Stolen center caps has never happened? Holy cow... You could make a living off reselling them in Ny. Lol. Almost all the escalades had no center caps.

never happened to me or anyone has never called me to get new caps since theirs were stolen. But im sure its happened.

Out here they steal rally caps from older cars.
