Too late for me, but looking back i could have found a ball bearing that had a snug fit...
Would have been easier if my block was aluminum though... :)

Gentlemen, I know this thread has been dormant for 2-1/2 years, but I have a question. And it is stupid one: Are the A37 bearing rollers not suitable for plugs in an aluminum block?

I am working on the L94 in my 2013 Escalade, and am installing the VLOM Mod from Crazy Performance Repair. I also want to install the A37 bearing rollers as plugs in the towers. However, rereading this thread, it implies that the rollers are to be used in cast iron blocks.
