So have any of you actually put an LED bulb in your projector style housing and didn’t regret it? Reason I ask is because they say if you have projectors to stick with a halogen bulb or go HID. I really want LED but fear the kind of light output it will give. I didn’t want to go HID because I didn’t want to cut into the plastic cover plate on the back of the headlight assembly. What are your all’s thoughts on this?
Hello. As you have said ( we recommend just Hids for the projector headlights) reason why is because our Hids are the brightest lights you can get with NO glare, and
Also they will not give you any black spot in the projector versus the Leds give you a black spot in the projector holding the lights and not letting them project correct as the Hids does. Also Hids are 3 times brighter than any halogen or Leds you can get. Leds are recommended for reflector housing no projectors. If you have any other questions, let me know thanks.
