New to the Yukon world! The wife and I picked up a 2003 Yukon XL SLT for $3200 a little over a week ago. 223,000 miles on it. We thought it was a pretty good price but it did need some TLC. Here's what's been done so far:
New front shocks and sway bar links
New (to me) 2009 20" GMC wheels and new Goodyear tires
1-2 and 3-4 shift solinoids (wouldn't shift into overdrive and had a P0753 code)
New brake master cylinder and new brake pads (spongy brakes)
Brake system complete bleed
New liftgate and glass struts
Fixed a broken back glass hinge (yay JB Weld!!)
Escalade gauge cluster with blue LEDs and needles
New serpentine belt and tensioner pulley (squeeky)
New fog lights (both were broken off)
DRL sockets and bulbs (Melted)
Got a few more things to do like new ball joints, inner and outer tie rod end, pitman arm and idler arm. Oh, and new rear springs and shocks. And a new double din head unit.
The gauge cluster just came in today so I can actually drive it now. The new family truckster!
