Recently purchased a 2007 Denali. Not sure if it is E85 Flex Fuel compatible but just checked the VIN and the code says I have a L92 6.2 L V8 Sequential Fuel Injection engine.

Can you tell if this indicates that it is flex fuel compatible?

Thanks.

Hello,

This engine can’t use E-85. Premium gasoline is recommended, but not required. This engine has the variable valve timing and aluminum block to try to boost fuel economy. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.

I thought the 6.2L L92's were iron?

Nope, aluminum block & heads.
I think most of the 6.0L were iron blocks though.
