So tonight on my way home, I turned into an empty parking lot to turn around. I reckon I was going a little fast (10-15ish at steering lock) and all of a sudden I hear the all to familiar noise of something rubbing in the tranny area VERY loudly. I am unfortunately very familiar with this sound after spinning the center out of my cracked flexplate driving it 200+ miles and then having starter issues that have all been fixed or so I thought.
So after this very tight circle this very loud sound appeared and I parked it and shut it off immediately, after starting it up again I hear this horrible rubbing/screeching sound and i notice my speedo shoots up to 15 then falss back down to ten at idle. Sound is constant while engine is running.
So the question is what the **** is wrong with my truck again?? And I'm fairly positive its not my VSS or any other electrical solenoids, this is definetly metal on metal sound. Keep in mind I am17 and have done all transmission work myself ie. after 186k I replaced the 3-4 clutch, then after a few hundred more a flexplate and aftermarket TC. (With plenty of help from TYF and the internet of course)

Ideas??

Yes, whenever the engine is on. Sorry I have taken so long to reply, I've taken the tranny out tho and saw not busted bolts or ground metal so I think it might just be the TC went out. Thats what I'm hoping anyways, since i have it out I'm gonna replace it with the 3000 stall Trailblazer TC. Hope that fixes the problem. Gives me a little launch too, I'm slowly trying to build a street truck.
