CoolChuck that is exactly what i did. I got such an outstanding deal with advance auto it was crazy. I got a water pump, upper and lower radiator hoses, two gallons of Dexcool and a axle seal for my Typhoon for a total of 161.00 PLUS a FIFTY dollar coupon that i will get in an email within 10 days. I did the install last night it was easy. Worked out great. I will keep this thread updated at least once or twice within a few weeks to let everyone know the status.

I have rp0 "lm7",I had a tough time finding a tahoe that DIDNT have one of those letters as the eigth number in the vin.Everyone I looked at had it.Now I kind of wish I knew about this before I bought my tahoe last week,I wont feel comfortable driving this truck knowing these future problems could happen.I may bring this to mechanic to check the head and look for the casting logo,is there anything I should tell them to look for besides the logo?

Not to bother your train of thought..........but your worrying WHAT COULD happen. If we think that we will be worst off!!! You have the truck now enjoy it. Keep up with your maintenance and you should be just fine. :)
