Any Idea? Clicking (like a relay) under drivers dash (only when actually driving)

If I am stopped at a light It doesn't click, But as I speed up the clicking progressively gets fasters (kinda like its monitoring the seed of the vehicle) I am pretty sure the 4wd brain is under there and it uses speed sensors to monitors slipping, But the truck is in 2wd. I also recently have been getting a battery draw from somewhere (maybe from that circuit being open?) I don't know ... So if anyone hd any clue or [place to give me an Idea of what I should start looking for.

By the way its a 2000 Escalade 350 (5.7L) Ustomatic, with auto 4wd, etc ..

Had clicking also, under dash. Check this first. Probably under the footwell cover under glove box is your blend door actuator for your HVAC system. When these go, they can click and sometimes the door can get stuck and blow all hot or cold air. There is also one of these actuators for the mode and recirc. The mode act is also easy to get to, but the recirc is a chore. All are just bolt on affairs. My new actuator cost $136, though!!!!

Anyway, I'm assuming you have a auto clim unit. Try turning it off and see if clicking goes away, if so, you found the issue, if not, new route.

Does the clicking happen when you are in park but pressing on the gas making the engine go up in RPM's or do you have to be actually moving for the clicking to start? Could it be an exhaust leak? Exhaust gaskets or a cracked manifold?
