I am wondering if anyone knows how or where to install a top strap anchor for a child seat on a 95 2 door tahoe, any ideas?

On my 01, I ran the top strap over the seat and down to the seat frame on the back. I am sure you can find a similar spot on the back of the seat to hook on to. And to get it tight enough, I had to hook that strap first, then adjust it to take all the slack out. Then push the baby seat down tight against the bottom of the seat to hook the two side hooks. The top strap needs to be so tight that the seat cannot tilt forward at all.

i looked but i dont think that will work because the floor folds up the back of the seat when the seat is up, you can pull it back and there are some bolts under there but they dont seem to be in the right spot for a car seat to line up right

Have fun crawling in the back to strap the kid in...I had to go with the 4 door family wagon once the kids came along!

It isn't too bad for me. Now that my daughter can walk, I put her in on the passenger side then climb into the front seat to help her get into the carseat and buckle her in. Getting out is even easier. I only need to unbuckle her and she can get out the rest of the way herself.

When we had her in a carrier, that was more difficult.

My wifes vehicle is the family wagon...a 2004 NBS Tahoe. So we roll in her tahoe on trips and family outings, while I get my 2 door yuk all to myself...well, most of the time anyway.
