While I have the mad scientist attention haha, I stumbled across these on the old interweb,
Find this as well
5F83E604-DC50-4413-81C4-A22E705172FB_zps5b39wtaw.gif

So, this is where everyone has been. My thread died. ha ha..

But this pic is exactly what i have started to look for. If i remember right that would give me back 1.5" of drop i could i have. Not that i could, but a little lower would be cool or at least the ability.

For that top mount of the t-bar type, I'll stick w/ my upper b/c if you want all you have to do is bolt the shock to the original mount for the upper.

Do pm or text where you found that image of the split bottom qa1.

Those shocks are from the C5 pro system, they are about $400 each, and are about 1.5" higher than using a normal mount and my bottom brackets. http://www.qa1.net/qa1_motorsports/...vette-coil-over-shocks/double-adjustable.html

You may could try and special order some shocks from QA1 with their "special" lower mount, which is what they call that, but I have no idea what that would cost or if they would even do it.

If you are willing to fab stuff yourself, then you have a world of options. I originally made my parts as something that can be easily installed without cutting or welding anything (talking about the lowers). Can other mount types work, sure, but they are a lot more work on your end.

I saw that price and said never mind & clicked the X. lol.

What is that end called on the stock shocks? I.E. Stud mount/t-bar/bearing end etc.

No I'm good with those shocks from the vette was just showing I stumbled across them. I was always planning on running your lower brackets. I was just thinking the t-bar could be a replacement for the stud mount upper because at the moment the stud mount top is questionable. I understand it is a bolt on and keeps everything lined up good and your brackets are awesome. Trust me I'm going to go with the same set you guys have. Well maybe minus top bracket if 04blackout reviews are good. Just need the money now.
:hmmm2:

Hey guys just made 7 or so more complete sets last week so I have plenty to sell!

My plans changed slightly...I'll be needing only one set of the lower mounts. Do you have enough buyers to give us the sales price that you had talked about recently?

I was planning on reinforcing the uppers with your kit. After seeing 04blackout do his conversion with no issues and also talking with ridetech I'm comfortable with doing the uppers without any reinforcement.

My original plan on the lowers was to use some used djm lower control arms to get a 3" drop and just reinforce them. I got to looking at this closely and realized that the djm lower control arms get their 3" of lowering by reindexing the torsion bars...so my plan to use them doesn't do me any good.

Lower Mount Dimensions

I'm trying to measure for the proper shock height (extended/compressed/ride height). How much does using *only* your lower shock mount reduce the shock height by?
