my back bumper license plate lights are both out but the bulbs are fine even changed em to make sure and the fuse is good. so i have no idea whats wrong with them and need them so i dont get a ticket for not having them any help is apperciated

The actual bulb plugs are probably coroded the ****, very common problem, I tried getting a used one off many parts vehicles (pickups work too) but they were all no good, the dealer wants 150 or so for it as it is a whole harness.

you may be able to splice in some new plugs, but LMC truck sells it for dirt cheap, I think it was 14 bucks or so,

they didnt look corroded the front side marher light plugs were though ill check again though

check that green/black junction block under your truck near the rear bumper for the trailer lights.. sometimes that gets prettty corroded as well.
