Any other way to turn on E-fan pins

I have an 04 Yukon Denali and want to swap out the mechanical fan for an electric. BB wants $125 just to turn on the activation pins, which at that cost I might as well spend the extra $ for a tune also. I'd like to know if there is any other way to have the pins activated so I don't have to send the ECU out.

i used a thermostatic controller on my aftermarket fans i installed in my 03 gmc pick up.

ran a relay for each fan and used a fog light install kit to have a master on/off switch.

I don't want to have all the extra switches and wiring for a setup like that. I just want them to work as designed. The cost of an external controller and the bb tune are about the same anyway. Just thought there might be some other way to be able to trunk them on

those are your two options pretty much. id go with the tune myself.
