Any reason NOT to go 4" or 6" on a 2021 Z71?

I have a 2013 with a 4" and just like the shop told me, I should have gone 6" because I am always wondering what if. My goal is to run 35s without any rub, and hopefully very little trimming. I am now shopping 21s and because of the above, I am thinking that I want a 6" right from the jump. Your leveled pics look great, but if I am going to put the money into the work, rims, and tires, I figure I might as well go for it all. Any reason not to? Does BDS have a kit for 21s yet? I had a dealer tell me they could do an RC 6".

Thanks in advance!

Its all personal preference. Depends what look you are after. The hard part right now is seeing pics of them to help make a decision.

I personally like the look of factory (or maybe a slight level/lift) with meaty tires on stock wheels that fill out the wheel wells. Theres no way in hell I would lift it 6”...but thats me.

Have you looked through the Custom Offsets Gallery?

You might want to verify with rough country that they have a 6" lift available for your 21 tahoe. There is nothing listed on their site and I have seen no other lift company come out with anything except for leveling kits.

Thanks for the responses. Like you, I was concerned about RC being the only option, IF they even have a '21 kit. Thanks for the gallery idea, I was not aware of that resource. Unfortunately, there aren't any '21 Tahoes or Yukons posted yet.

I have yet to find anything other than leveling for the 21s .... fabtech claims to be working on one but it's been "coming soon" since November.

Thanks again, local dealer parts dept. has confirmed that lifts for 21s, presumably because of the new independent suspension?, are not yet available.

Where are you located Jason? I've seen that the guys at Lewisville Autoplex here outside Dallas have done some lifts on the '21s but I have no idea what they're using.

EDIT: it's ReadyLift. I had heard somewhere that the 3.5" and 4" kits from the previous gen might be useable on the '21s, not sure if they're direct fit or need to be modified but it looks like that's an option.
