Greetings,

I'm a new owner of an 03 Yukon XL Denali that does not have the touch screen/NAV. I'm toying with the idea of buying SOMETHING that I can use to replace the factory radio that would give me Bluetooth connectivity with my iPhone, and perhaps a nav system. Yeah, I know I can use my iPhone or iPad for Nav, BUT....

Any suggestions?

Look into the isimple isgm655 - a little over $100 on Amazon. I put it in my rig about a month ago, and when it works, its great. Stream & talk over bluetooth, play & charge from USB, Aux input. Having a few issues with mine though so I can't recommend it 100% yet but looks like its worked great for a lot of people, this forum included. (I'm having to reset every time its off overnight - not huge deal but annoying). http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B54SJIK

What kinda price range? If $$$ isnt an issue its hard to beat Alpine. For more budget friendly, Id look at:

Kenwood
Pioneer
Clarion
Power Acoustic

Probably in that order.

Very reasonably priced - where do you mount that?

I wouldn't mind paying a bit more and getting a touch screen control unit to replace the factory radio.

I guess I'm wondering what I need to pay? $300? $500? What specific model of Alpine?

I like power acoustic decks, my installer sells alot of them and has very few issues.

Interesting - thanks for the recommendation. This unit has no GPS/Nav capabilities to it, correct?

Nope,

Here is what I have always done..
Go to SonicElectronix and go to head units, select all the options you want and then arrange by price, find one in your range with good reviews, then cross reference that item with ebay/amazon

Rolex.. If you're looking for a plain double din that has nav... I would recommend the clarion nx404. I don't have this in my Yukon, but use it in my wife's scion. The pro is its cheap, easy to install, and menus are snappy. Cons is that it has a built in mic in front of the deck which may make callers hear your voice lightly. (U can buy an external mic). And also this model has no HD radio capability. Good luck !
