if so, do you know if there's a way to program the remote to unlock all the doors? mine only does the driver door and it's annoying as hell cuz i have to have the original vehicle remote with me to open the other doors which i always forget to do....and then the wife is waiting to get in...and that doesn't go over so well, lol...it loses me cool points...or i'm-getting-sex-tonight points

You will have to post up which clifford model you have first.

And if you happen to know...are you using a door lock interface? If so, which one?

I had an older Clifford alarm on a Camry some years ago and if I remember correctly if I pushed the unlock once it would unlock the drivers door only, if I pushed it a second time it would unlock all the doors! I could be wrong but I am almost pretty sure I'm right!

Well, doesn't it matter what the truck is programmed to do? Just going off of memory, I'll check to confirm this in a bit, but on my denali I thought you could go into the DIC and tell it to either unlock all the doors or just the drivers door? I know not everyone has the "drivers information center" in their rigs, but shouldn't there be a way to get that programmed on their rig anyway?

EDIT: SEE BELOW!!! - DIC programming was issue!

UNedited post:
It mostly has to do with installation.

generally to do 'progressive' unlocking (that is the term you want to search for btw)
is additional wiring and programming. You may simply have a bad connection for the other lock wire. The brain could be unprogrammed to. I donpt know if the DIC would have anything to do with it, as IIRC it was a physical wiring difference between all toether and progressive.

If you cn get the modle number off the brain, it should NOT be that difficult to google an installation manual which will help you resolve this issue. even if you can get one that is somewhat close in model number it should be pretty much the same.

I just went out and checked it out, I can control if my unlock options through the DIC (just seems wrong everytime I type that word!!:boxed: :)), either just the drivers door, all doors or none!! If I remember right for the rigs that don't have DIC their rigs can still get programmed to do the same, can't remember if the owners manual says how to or if the dealer has to do it!

So if I understand you correctly, the alarm is wired for all together, and then the DIC options are what determines if it is drivers door or all together?

ach. Digital/LAN doorlocks. makes sense now. will correct the above.
