I had the Isimple with Bluetooth about 5 years ago. It worked good, but after about a year and a half, one day my factory radio wouldn't turn on. I unhooked the Isimple and the radio worked again. I tried hooking it back up, but again no power to radio. Shortly after, I replaced radio with Alpine Nav head unit.

The family that I basically share a house with has it in her 2005 esky esv with the factory non nav system. Her husband got it online. Not sure where. But I've used it a couple times. One day while they very graciously loaned me caddy as we call it haha while my denali was being worked on so I could still make my detailing appointments that day. And then a couple times while I was riding along with them. The isimple connect works well. She's had it a little over 2 years now and it still works fine. Once you connect a phone once, when you get back in it'll connect automatically as long as the Bluetooth is turned on on the phone. I think its a good easy Bluetooth setup. I remember seeing him installing it when he got it and he said the install was pretty easy. DIY.

I installed on of these in my wife's Trailblazer and it was a POS! She's not into hi-tech gear and whatnot, so I thought this would be a great way to connect via bluetooth to the truck. I'm a certified car audio installer, and trust me you are better off buying a cheap aftermarket bluetooth enabled head unit and a PAC module to interface if needed. It would kill power to the head unit, the display for what is playing is a joke trying to distinguish what it says on the factory display. Had to reset the damn thing all the time. I didn't even disconnect it from the head unit when I replaced it all.

Put in one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-MVH-X...ia receiver&qid=1463983303&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2

And the wife couldn't be happier. Not fancy at all, but solid little unit and does it's job.
