So bass is really lacking in the truck and wondering if anybody has a set up under the rear seat in their 2dr and see what it look like. I really wanna keep the back open and already don't like the spare taking up room so I don't wanna sacrifice any more room

I did mine under the passenger's seat. Mine's a 4 door, but since it's under the front, it would still work for a 2-door. My amp is under the rear seat, along with my jack and tire changing tools. I didn't want to pull all that stuff. Here's some pics, let me know if you want the measurements. It has decent bass for me, I listen to rock, so it works for bass lines and drums.

Here's why that one side is at an angle. There's a spring under the seat to move it forward. I had to do a lot of measuring, but it fit perfectly without touching that spring. I didn't want anything touching the box and vibrating.

Nice, is that the shallow mount sub? Dimensions would be great. I mainly listen to country and rock so sounds like the set up I need. What amp are you using?

If you look at the pics, you'll see that the top and bottom pieces go all the way to the sides, and then there are side pieces "sandwiched" between them. I used 1/2" MDF, because I didn't think I needed to worry about it flexing with this size sub. It's the Pioneer 8" Shallow mount.

The side pieces are 3" tall, and since I used 1/2" MDF, the top and bottom pieces make the whole box about 4" tall. Here's the top and bottom measurements. I did the math, and the internal volume is 0.22 cu. ft. of air (including the displaced air of adding the sub into the box). The minimum space for the sub is 0.15 cu. ft., so it's fine.

That one angled side is about 11.5 inches. Sorry about that, I forgot to add that one in there.

My amp is a JBL P80.4. I bridged the two rear outputs, so the sub is getting 160 watts. The front two outputs are running my door speakers in parallel.
