Anybody running these headlights?

So i've got these headlights installed on my tahoe, they came with 6000k bulbs and that is WAY too much blue. So i ordered 5000k from DDM tuning and the bulb doesn't fit in the housing, now i did order the correct H1 style bulb its just a little bit too wide. Any ideas? Also was wondering if you have these did you guys trim the little semi circle? Where the old H1 bulb went it would fit in kinda like a key style, but the hid bulb doesn't fit in it i had to turn it 15 degrees down so it would fit

thats odd that it would take an H1 bulb. Maybe thats a typo, as the factory setup uses a 9006 for the lows and a 9005 for the highs. If you still have a factory halogen laying around, see if they fit in the housing, if they do, they gave you the wrong part number..

i know the factory is a 9006 but the projector housing is made for an H1

I bought some TYC projectors for my Yukon and they took the H1 bulb too.
I drilled out the center of the hole where the H1 buld goes and the HID bulb fit and works just fine. Hold it upside down to avoid getting shavings into the projector.

I have the exact some headlights.....I just drilled out the opening more so they would fit.

Quick question, what did yall use to drill the hole out? I got the same headlight and problem, but no dremel tool.

Yup

These are the same as mine but mine are 6000K and pure white. not blue at all

Bulbs fit in ok so not sure if I can help you.
