Anyone carry snowboards?

I have a roof top cargo carrier I use. I opted against the exposed type carriers to keep my equipment free of dirty sprAy of my truck or others. Not nice to to get to the hill and than take your board down I find it covered in dirty road spray. However, the exposed ones especially the hitch mount one looks ba.

Board bag in the back retains must of the melting snow. Not to mention a great way to keep your actual board safe during travel.

i use yakima fatcat 6. will post a pic later on to show you how they look on the truck. dont just put the snowboard/skiis inside (without proper covers), it will scratch the plastic on the side of the trunk inside

+1 on the Yakima, i have a older set of powder-hounds. I think they look better on a black truck.

I only use them on trips when the truck is packed with wife, friends and bags and no room for boards and skis. 90% of the time i go to the mountain alone and i keep my board inside (my audi A4) because I just dont like all the road grime and salt kicking up on my gear
