Interesting. My best friends parents have a 2015 esky esv and I detail it all the time. There aren’t any buttons on any of the handles. It’s all sensors on theirs.
Yup. In fact I was at the house all the morning detailing their kodiak 4500 and I had that thought in my head. Caddy was parked beside my and there’s no physical buttons on the handles. You sure about that?

The 2015 Esky owner's manual discusses keyless entry with buttons on the door handles.Interesting. My best friends parents have a 2015 esky esv and I detail it all the time. There aren’t any buttons on any of the handles. It’s all sensors on theirs.
Maybe it’s a flat button on the inner part of the handle that’s flush with the handle and I don’t notice it. But there’s definitely not a button in the outer edge of the grab handle. The 2015 Esky owner's manual discusses keyless entry with buttons on the door handles.

You're right - it is semantics. Your original post implied that you had discovered an unknown feature.Ok guys...it's all semantics. I'll break it down.
Old way- walk up to door, stick thumb out to press button, once doors unlock, wrap fingers around handle and pull.
New way- walk up to door, place fingers around handle, thumb naturally goes to area on handle where the button is, (here is the clincher) since button is raised from handle (gasps) the button becomes depressed without having to press it. Pull handle.
Yes, it can be done without physically having to press the button in a separate movement. Cover the handle with your hand and your thumb automatically covers the button since it is raised. You are not having to make a point to press the button. It goes in just by covering it.
It's more about the process than the action itself.
Now if you guys have little girly hands, you may need to press the button first since you cannot cover the entire handle at one time.
