Anyone else with a TPW of 6/13?

I reserved one a dealer already had an order for last week. TPW was last week as well and throughout I have been getting super basic info from the chat. The very generic "congrats, your vehicle has been produced and shipping is next". This was from both the chat bot and a couple of actual chevy reps through chat. Finally yesterday, I was able to speak with a super nice rep and they gave me a more detailed status. One that is up to date. See picture below.
Seems like dealer should be getting my delivery soon!

Hmm, Why would they not have info about my ETA and my dealer would but they had the ETA of some other members in this thread's?

Dealer actually called me on Friday to let me know my Tahoe had been built earlier that week and they had an eta of the week of 7/12 but that date could slip some. He said it was shown as being loaded for shipment to SC. I’ll believe it when I see it at this point as that would be less than 3 weeks from production to delivered. Gave me my vin # as well. I’m almost speechless, but not holding my breath!

Check if you have a window sticker if you havent yet. That’s a pretty good indicator your truck is actually in transport.

I did and I printed it out as well to check the order. MSRP is up as well as the shipping, $65,800 for Premier 2WD, $1,795 shipping. Was $64,300 and $1695 when ordered. Duramax still $995 and display & alert package $1695. got a $25 credit for later retrofit seat ventilation and $50 on the park assist, still no 4 way lumbar or steering lock either $50 each. Looks like I did get the heated steering wheel and seats, just not the ventilation fans. I did not get a price lock when ordered, but dealer doesn't mark up over MSRP and did not require a deposit up front so its the price you pay at this point ($69,950). I will let you all know if it shows up that fast.

@972sparky if your order was placed as a customer sold, and under the original order#, GM has a price protection program currently.

needs to meet a couple specific criterias, but might as well bring it up to your dealer to see if you can save the money. I was unable to get price protection on my order placed in August, due to the dealer using a different order# to get mine allocated.

Hey Brandon, any update on your build and may I ask where yours is headed to? We had the same TPW and mine too should be headed to Chicago via rail but I haven't had any other information since it was produced. Finger's crossed its on there with yours! :) Any update though?

6/10 - vehicle produced
6/15 - window sticker generated
6/16 - ‘in transit’ on dealers website
6/20ish - ‘in transit’ on Chevy.com

Dealer told me Friday that we’re still on track for delivery “first week of July” but didn’t give specifics of current location. Chevy chat at one point told me it was destined for west Chicago rail yard. Dealer is in east debuque IL (NW corner of the state).

Oh wow. Didn't know chevy chat would say the destination. All I ever get told is they can't tell me that and the dealer should be able to lol. Although I did just get a new event code from them 4300-delayed :/

I just tried to get more info again on location and was told “it was released to the carrier waiting to be shipped” and “there is no ETA yet” from chat. They said it was “last seen at Arlington Texas going to Chicago IL” so I’m hoping that means it’s actually on a train…..if the date slips next week I’ll ask for a vin view from the dealer.

Wow, seems like you may have gotten the last train out or something lol. I just talked to the Sales manager at my dealership since Chevy chat is absolutely useless and he says the vehicle is still in Arlington and is pending dispatch (whatever that means). But he also said he should know an ETA within the next week or so.

Thanks, I will try that. Order was placed on 4/13 and I have the build sheet from the dealer with the pricing at that time on it. It showed up on the chevy inventory site as in transit to my dealer and after comparing the window sticker and the dealer option listing I'm not convinced it has a heated steering wheel after all and there is no mention for a retrofit on the sticker. It says in the interior standard equipment section that all LT,RST,Z71 and premier will not include heated steering wheel (quote below is from the chevy site), and there is no credit or mention of retrofit or listing of the heated steering wheel on the sticker. I looked at an in transit High Country and it was listed in the interior section of the sticker. Not going to be happy if there isn't even a credit or retrofit. Might be why some are being shipped right after build, just leave what they don't have off all together. Won't know until I see it I guess.

"Heated steering wheel
  • Can turn on/off manually by pressing the button on the steering wheel
  • On LT, RST, Z71 and Premier, vehicles built on or after December 6, 2021 will not be equipped with heated steering wheel
  • Feature will not function on certain models without dealer retrofit, see dealer for details
  • Contact a dealer for details or check the window label for the features on a specific vehicle
  • May require additional optional equipment"
