I'm not sure I'm too keen on the chrome adhesive mount variety. I really like the finish on the factory ones though. Has anyone installed the factory parts and do you have a good part number and/or source for them?

Thank you for your help!

I just sold my complete Denali roof rack with cross rails on EBay. They come up there from time to time.

Pre 2015 was easy, bolts on outside

2015 and newer suck, bolts on inside, need to drop headliner to remove them

I just noticed the OP stated " roof rails" not "roof rack". @drichardjackson are you talking about the rubber strips that run from front to back on the roofs? I did replace one of mine that was damaged, found the part # on one of the dealer parts diagrams online. Easy to apply, and yes it used high bond tape.

@NowZoomer , who was in charge of that design?! What a ding bat design! Lol. How is that practical?! Lol. How do they keep water from going through the roof rack and then through those mounting screws into the headliner?

These are the rails that are polymer/plastic on the non LTZ/Denali and they are bright trimmed on the Denali/ LTZ

Need a picture or better description. If you're talking about the rubber strips that are glued to the roof itself, it looks like they're sold as part of the roof panel itself. You can buy the 2 outer strips though, but not the 5 or so that are in the center. Here's a link to a parts diagram. Scroll to Body Hardware, then Roof, then View All Parts Diagrams.

If anyone has bought the chrome adhesive roof trim, can you post pics of it? I'm thinking of buying them but want to see how they look like compared to the OEM LTZ/DENALI

Thanks!

This is the piece that I am talking about. The rail that runs from front to back and has the brightwork insert in it on the Denali's and is just plastic on the lower trims. NOTE: NOT MY PICTURE! I found it online.
