Anyone ever put a power antenna in an OBS?

Anyone ever put a power antenna in an OBS? I have one in the shed I was thinking about putting in, will it even fit? Anyone out there pioneer this one before me?

I have not but if you did it might have to be a remote unit where the motor is seperate from the mast assy by drive cable because of space issues. None of the one-piece units fit.

Just shave it and get a hidden antenna. Looks way better anyways.

Do they work just as good or better than the stock one? They're amplified right? How about AM reception?

I wish I could help ya out but I just shaved my antenna and didn't put in a hidden one since I listen to my iPod all the time anyways. I'm pretty sure it's the exact same thing as your stock antenna and works just as good it's just relocated you know?

i shaved my antenna, but i have a interior antenna that you route from your headunit, get some power for it, then hide it behind the A pillar.. easy enough, looks good, and was only like 30bucks

autoloc has a hidden one for $49. It mounts on the inside glass. stick it between your rear view mirror and windshield.
