Sorry, doing it again with long posts lol.

Main point....

The chewing on the Camry doesn't seem to be for food...it's to get in/out, for bedding or entertainment lol.

Are there known places they like to shelter or nest or get in to a Tahoe? Places I can block entrance. Help!!!

Just talking to my husband about finding ways to get cat urine smell around the perimeter of vehicle and found the site below. Wonder if the science behind this is legit. Seriously considering trying just about anything. 3 other vehicles on property (including 2 other Camry's for our adult children and my husband's GMC truck) so more potential "homes" once I remove my Camry.

Have you tried drilling a couple holes at the top of a deep bucket and putting a dowel through the holes and putting some peanut butter in middle of the dowel (attach something to the ends of the dowel)? I’ve seen this done and it works very well. The mice eventually fall into the bucket Just bring the little guys far away, so they don’t bother you anymore. (The version I saw actually had water in the bucket, but being the animal lover that I am I excluded that part.;)). You could set this up at each wheel.

Just an idea!

Sometimes we have found them in buckets of water looking to drink so have actually left buckets of water out, too. So we did try the dowel with peanut butter, too. Didn't work :( We are game for anything, tho!!!

A small block of aromatic cedar is about the best long term 60-90 days fix I've found, mothballs work too, not very long before you have to replace them.

I used to be able to get coyote urine at home depot, and that is supposed to be a powerful deterrent.

Little cloth bags/pouches of moth balls at the base of each wheel?

Petroleum products. I had no idea soy was the culprit in the wiring. Ever thought about digging a hole for a small trash can and baiting it?

Little critters would literally throw themselves away and probably assassinate themselves if left for a week or two. If it’s a metal can you could burn the remains occasionally. Gross but definitely hands off the little flea bags.

Co worker would put used kitty litter around his old farm house to help stop the mice coming in. He thought it worked.

Husband was actually suggesting putting little satchels of used litter in the trunk like ladies used to put in their dresser drawers haha ;) May try it. Nothing else works.
