I'm wondering what this looks like from the outside, and how it affects the interior when looking in...In VT I'm legally allowed to tint everything rear of the driver as dark as I want, and the roughly 4" at the top of the windshield.

I have a tint brow to the AS-1 line on my Tahoe. Here is a outside view of it. Don't have an inside one though.

Thanks Neo, do you think it darkens up the front compartment? It looks like your front sides are tinted too, which I can't do, so I'm wondering if the brow tint will help.

Yes it does darken it up a bit but not much. Mainly helps with visibility in the sun during the summer.

Ok. I'm trying to decide if it will look funny on my truck without the front being tinted too.

Oh no you will be fine. My front window tint is removed every year for a day or two so I can pass state inspection and it looks fine with the brow tint.

I have the 5% brow on my avalanche and it made a huge difference in the amount of sunlight that got in the vehicle.

OK then that settles it. I"m putting a unibrow on her face. A nice, thick, dark one.

I used to have a brow on mine. It was past the AS-1 line. I think it was about a 10 inch brow. It helped a LOT in the sun, and kept some sun out too. Since I had my windshield replaced a year or so ago, I have just never bothered to get another tint strip put on. The new glass has some tint at the top already, and I guess I am ok with that for now. Look at my sig pic, that's how it looks now.
