I used to have a brow on mine. It was past the AS-1 line. I think it was about a 10 inch brow. It helped a LOT in the sun, and kept some sun out too. Since I had my windshield replaced a year or so ago, I have just never bothered to get another tint strip put on. The new glass has some tint at the top already, and I guess I am ok with that for now. Look at my sig pic, that's how it looks now.

thanks man...you've got the look i'm trying to achieve...i need to cheat the system as best i can to darken it up inside...i'll tint the hell out of the rear windows and go dark on the brow as well. good lookin rig, BTW.

dammit men, see that's the kind of problem i want to avoid. i wish i could tint the whole thing, but i'm in a position where i need to follow inspection laws pretty closely, or risk catching heat from, well, the heat.

In Texas they would tag you so quick for that.
Windshield tint stands out more down here because we have inspection/registration stickers on the windshield that are not visible if installed behind the tint. And then if you cut out around the tint to install the stickers it is too noticeable.

We have those stickers too. But the big problem is the cops in my area are especially brutal. Especially when you work for them and you're supposed to live by the rules you enforce...brows, anyone?
