anyone know best way to remove the trim on outside of door( all of it actually)

ok does anyone have a suggestions on best way to remove all the trim down both sides of my yukon? its old looks ruff. im gonna take the yukon and gmc off tail gate too? i want it all gone since i gotta pay out the butt to replace it all.......

i took off my rear emblem with fishin string. i still need to take the adhesive off. i rushed and scratched the paint but im adding a nbs tahoe emblem so its no biggie. ive seen use a heat gun or hair dryer to make the adhesive soft so you can remove the emblem then use w.e u want to get te remaing resedue off. others will chime in who demolded

There are tons of threads on here about this.

1. Remove molding
2. Use 3m eraser wheel to remove adhesive
3. Clay bar, polish and clean spots where moldings use to reside

careful the truck has not been painted....around the trim.

I'va also seen some pretty funky paint issues under the trim, related to how and when the trim was installed after paint at the factory.... So be careful and remove a small section first, just to be sure.

heat gun, plastic scraper, laquer thinner to clean up.
