I always measure each shock from eye/eye at ride height then dial in a shock for my customers trucks from that.

just measured my shocks at ride height....from top mount to bolt hole center...approx. 16" driver side and 19.5" on passenger side...took my partners edelbrocks and collapsed them but only measured about 17" fully collapsed....kyb's are even taller...would like some bilsteins or edelbrocks but cant find a shock that would work....any suggestions..? i plan on towing with it once in a while too....
