The truck is in beautiful shape. Knowing you, it is mechanically sound and then some.

It's the right time of year to sell it. We didn't get much snow in the upper midwest last year. One or two good blizzards should increase demand.

CL is a good listing place since it is nationwide accessible and is included on some car selling site search engines.

CL is the next option I will use to try and sell. This is an edit to what I said would be next, about an hour ago.

My girl does want to try CL first.

This is starting to get awkward. My girl loves this truck and wanted to get something newer with safety air bags but she was not "Gonna just let her truck go for too cheap of a price".

She wants the price set at $13k again and will negotiate down from there. All depending on the valve stem seal work. She said she has watched me bring this truck back up to the condition it deserves to be in and if she doesn't find a buyer at a agreeable price for the seller and buyer, then she will keep it. We have looked for it's replacement and are not finding anything close to the condition of this truck. So....knowing all this, she said it sells for what she says it's worth or does not sell at all. She has had it for approximately 10+ years and loves the Big Brown Beast.

This explains why I am setting the price back at $13k-Or Best Offer.

Well, it took about a month but she bought it for herself. She cannot bear to sell her truck. She is tired of looking for a replacement and dreads the day the Big Brown Beast would drive away. That means even more work for me but I don't mind doing it for her. Sorry if this results in anyone being mad but her wrath and gloominess is a far greater dread on my part.

I definitely regret ever selling my 93 and the last 97 I got I just had no interest in at all because I would’ve rather had the older style interior with the “lazy boy” bench seat for activities :naughty:
To be honest that FB marketplace is the best bet now a days for selling anything as Craigslist has went down the drain from what it once was… I see them OBS trucks selling for a fortune on there

Never made it to FB and now I am glad we didn't. Just posted here and at GMT400.com. It was a couple of members there that said she would regret selling the truck. You could tell, as each day went by, that she was dreading the day it might sell.

My girl bought a 2004 Silverado K2500HD today. Has 118k miles on it. I know the vehicle history on this truck. The owner's son is my friend that is a shop owner and the truck has great repair and maintenance history. There is no rust or dents or even scratches. This looks like a showroom floor truck with brand new BF Goodrich K02 tires. I had looked at this truck in July and wanted it at a lower price but with the new tires and her loving the truck, it is now hers.

Now, because of her new truck, she will sell the 1990 K2500 Big Brown Beast. Asking price is $13k Or Best Offer and no reasonable offer is refused.
