Anyone replaced stock Denali 4300k D3S HID with aftermarket 5000-5500k D3S

Since i replaced PSX26W bulbs in fogs with LED bulbs to match running lights, i wanted to upgrade stock low beam 4300 D3S HID with white 5000 or 5500 D3S HID bulb. Did anyone did this and what bulb did you get. Also any info how to remove headlights. Ill be replacing 9005 hi beams later on with either LED or HID kid

I went with 6000k LED from VLEDs for the fogs and 6500k Morimotos from the RetroFit Source. Thought the low beams would be an easy swap, but having some difficulty with the passenger side (which I tried first). Ended up spending a little for 1/2 hour of shop time at the dealer to swap both bulbs.

Did you find out how to remove headlights. I see a lot of used headlights on ebay with broken lower tab. I think that tab is hidden behind bumper ?

I just got TRS Morimoto 2stroke 9005 led kit and Morimoto D3S 5500k Hid bulbs. I order some spare GM low/hi beam bulb covers part # 22941303 so i can install 9005 led kit harness. Now i have to figure out how to remove headlights

4300K to 5500K is not an "UpGrade" the higher the "numerical number" (Kelvins) the lower the Lumens. Yo may (prefer) the 5500k but that's not an "Upgrade."

I know its not lumens upgrade. I just dont like yellowish stock bulbs of any kind. I drive 18 wheeler for living and i know hard is to drive with standard bulbs at night. Thats why i said upgrade
