measure the ds now how much is inside the tranny then move axle back and measure again.

I'll measure mine tomorrow. It's installed but I'll do some quick measurements & get you an accurate short length.

~31.75" at the shortest possible length. Mine is set @ ~33.75" and there is 2" of shortening left in it.
