I'd never ever buy a rental car. But some people's idea of mint is another person's manifestation of shoddy.

I remember returning my rental at lax and this dude in a Yukon in front of me stopped and did full burn outs in the middle of the street in traffic multiple times. I sooooooo wanted to confront that bastard at the drop off but I was late for my flight.

I know it's really hard to find an enthusiast's gm full size. Due to its utility many are beat even when mechanically cared for since a lot of families use them. I ran across a one owner truly mint condition 2011 Ltz at Lexus of Bellevue with 11k miles that i myself owned for a few days until I traded it in for a new '13 hybrid at burien Chevy. If you can find one of these unicorns I'd ****** it up budget allowing.

If you want a trustworthy dealer contact ask for Lloyd roper the fleet manager at burien. I bought my hybrid from him and the transaction was straight up and more than fair. Truly one of the best no bs car salesman I've met. If u want to name drop just pm me.

There's nothing like rolling a truly clean used rig. You save thousands with all the goodness that comes with peace of mind. Alas I couldn't find what's already a rare bird that hybrid so decided to go fresh. Good luck in your search!

My 2010 Lt Fleet vehicle had 19K on it. The dealership manager was using it at the time. Had his dry cleaning in the back when I test drove it! It had a few stains on the carpet but now my kids have covered the stains up with mud so you can't even see them

They also extended the 4 year warranty from the day i took possession which gives me an additional year.

No problems yet! I think if you are meticulous with the maintenance after you get a fleet vehicle you'll be fine. Just think how many people buy new one and don't maintain it!

I dipped my toe into the Certified GM pool about a month ago with this Denali....first non-new car I've purchased in 20+ years. So far so good....and if you look at it, you can't tell it from a brand new one.

In this part of the country, most of the ones that are put into rental fleets do not have memory seats (which were a necessity for me - I'm 6'3 and the other half is 5') or the towing package / 2 speed transfer case. If I found one with the right equipment, and it was cosmetically clean, I wouldn't worry about it. Rental fleets typically follow the manufacturers maintenance schedule to the letter, and can produce all the service records.
