Anyone with tranny problems???

I have 2012 burb with the sally 3.08 rear ended in it. I feel like it is shifting all the time and im worried in the long run that this will effect the tranny.

Also when coming to a stop, you can feel the tranny downshift with a slight clunk. Doesnt do it all the time, but enough to make me think if that is normal or not.

Just feel these 6spd trannys are going to cause issues in the future. Any input would be great!

I have researched your vehicle and there are currently no known transmission issues with 2012 Suburban vehicles.

If you continue to experience this issue, I recommend contacting a certified technician for a vehicle inspection.

The 6-speed and all of its torque/fuel management BS blows. There's nothing "abnormal" about what you're experiencing -- it's just that it blows.

Thats what I was afraid of.....any of the those programers/chips do anything to help these damn things out???

Help a little? Yes. Cure the issues? No.

Go BlackBear for a custom tune. I wouldn't bother with any "chips" or such.

My buddy has blown 3 trannys in his 07 denali xl (with 6 speed)... but the original transmission is still running great.

Thats great.....my dads is starting to cause issues in is 07 esky with only 57k on it.

Im not the only one that thinks these 6spds shift to much, right???

haha, over here, it's not a big of a deal, but over in Bangkok, Thailand, they have a big "tranny problem".

Lol. Really never heard them called that??? Uncle owns a shop, grew up calling them "trannys"....

Hell even the dealerships up hear in wisconsin call them trannys.
