Apple carplay 2016 Denali XL help

didn't get a manual with purchase and need help getting the carplay apps to appear on screen. I do have carplay set to "on" in the menu. Yes I got iPhone 6s+.

Anyone have link to download the manual?

The phone does have to be plugged in to the HU since GM doesn’t offer wireless CarPlay.

on in which menu? on your phone or in the truck? is your radio a i05?, I think you have to have at least i05/i06 for carplay/android auto to work, but I could be wrong.

There is no CarPlay manual. Make sure when you plug your phone into the USB port that the phone is unlocked.

Not all 2016's had Carplay and some had to be reprogrammed to enable it.

Yes, this, and make sure you are using an actual Apple branded and Apple MADE cord. The generics only work 50% of the time, at best.

Thanks, got carplay working. Had to "check" which said something like while iPhone is connected...
