Are the EVO sensor and the steering column sensor the same thing?

Hey guys, I have been doing a lot of searching to fix my sloppy steering. I am now really confused about whether or not the EVO sensor and the Steering Column Position Sensor are the same thing.
Can someone point me in the right direction please? And if they differ, can you let me know the part numbers for each? I plan on replacing these parts to see if this helps my sloppy steering issue.
