The Lifetime Warranty on Arnott's OE Z55 Auto-ride replacement shocks is NO MORE. All purchases made post/after July 31, 2023 will be covered by a Limited Two Year Warranty only.

They also stated that any OE Z55 Auto-ride replacement shocks purchased prior to/before July 31, 2023, under their stated assurance that we would never have to buy rear shocks again, thanks to said Lifetime Warranty......Will be replaced one time, and moving forward will only be covered by the same Limited Two Year Warranty

edit: sorry if this already discussed

Doesn't surprise me. There are probably a number of shareholders whose dividend check wasn't just right enough.......better pass it along to the customer.

this has been known for a while and any authorized dealer should have a updated warranty statement reflecting the 24 months warranty period
that being said mine are approaching 7 years old and still work fine.
in a twist of fate the oem shocks are now lifetime warranty from GM
as well as the Dorman ones they started making about 3 years ago

So keep in mind if you purchased your Arnott struts prior to July 31, 2023 it’s still guaranteed for life and you’re still eligible for one more warranty at ANY time.

Otherwise it’s a two year timer if purchased After July 31, 2023. FYI Arnott had at least two of their retailers selling privileges revoked because they abused the lifetime warranty program exchanging struts they never sold against new purchases.

The days of commitments like that are history. How do you compete with two local shops that rebuild active & passive struts with subpar materials & parts? You can not.

Owners who buy those inferior, cheapo z55/95 struts that imminently fail in a few months, fuel the demise of legit companies like Arnott.

Arnott is made in USA or rebranded A/C Delco factory units. All that other “compatible, discount” junk with no source or origin slowly picks apart US made part companies.
