So I just install a belltech 2 spindles and 3/4 5305 springs on my 06 yukon xl. It has the auto air ride and I changed to the shorter rods on the end links. The 1" spacer is not installed.
So when I first put it back on the ground with no air in the shocks, (I had the compressor unplugged) it sat really low. After hooking the comp up and filling the shocks it came up pretty far, and the comp seems to run longer now when I start the truck up each time. I tried making the rods as short as they would go.
My questions is how much load should be on the air shocks? It seems like they are filling a lot more and raising the back more. I always thought that the springs should carry the load? My only ideas at the point are try shorter rods with the end links or install the 1" spacer?
thoughts anyone? thanks

Yes, and the shocks / compressor were new from Arnott about a year and half ago.

Just under 3" inches, maybe 2 7/8? I can't make it any shorter they are all the way in. I could buy some rod stock and make my own.

10X24 machine screw cut it to 2.5 inches long.

Did you get the kit from me? Not sure if you were the same guy that called me from down south and had issues installing the rear springs

Ok Tony, I will give that a try.
No I got these items locally off craigs list. The spindles from a guy that wanted his truck lower and replaced them with a-arms and another guy sold his rig before installing the rear kit. Lucky on both finds I guess.

I will be order the DJM shorter sway bar end links from you though.

Well shorting the rods so the end links are at 2 and 3/4 on center worked, (thanks Tony). It now sets at ~34" vs 35", no air it was 33 and 1/2. The front sets at ~33 and 1/2. It's going to need the free travel mod, not much space between the shorter bump stops and the axle. Here are a few pics:
