AutoCal Tip of the Week! V2 Edition!

Since we also provide tuning for customers who have a V2, and get asked a lot about how to data log with it, I thought I would share the steps here:

- First you will need to have the V7.5 program downloaded to your computer.

- Next you will need to save the PID file that we will send you, to your laptop. Plug the V2 into your vehicle and then the laptop as well.

- Open the V7.5 Scan program. Turn the ignition on and in the Scan program, click File and then Connect, then select the controller type and hit OK. Then hit File again, then Open, Open PID selection file, and then select the file from wherever you saved it.

- Finally the PIDs will pop up and then you can hit record.

We think it is easiest to data log with a laptop and V2, but you can also data log with the V2 by itself, I will cover those steps next time.
