My 2011 LTZ with the Z55 autoride is at 100k.

- ride is feeling rickety
- service suspension light is on (sensor on rear shock bad)
- i only drive on pavement and looking for smoother ride

Question is
- better to just replace w OEM Delco and not bypass the stock systems?
- or replace with Arnott shocks/struts (which I understand bypass stock systems)

I'm able to do the install myself.

Thanks for the feedback!

Depends on the money you want to spend. Personally I would keep it as OEM as possible at this point.

Just in case you decide to go with Arnott I have a brand new set in the box still of the Arnott SK-2671 that I purchased for the front of my Escalade but didn't need them after all.

I'd go Arnott. The company is great to deal with and they make a product that's first rate. I first bought their parts when the air bags on my 2002 Audi needed replacing and the Arnott shocks were half the factory parts. Then in a Mercedes I had. Now I have the Arnott rear self leveling shocks and air pump in my Denali. Great parts for a lot less than the dealer
