Hello all. I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe z71 with the bose sound system. My cd player is jammed so I would like to add an aux cord. All the research I've done shows how to install an aux if you have xm radio but my truck doesn't have the xm radio box behind the glove box.

Does anyone know how to or if it is possible to install an aux cord to the factory 6 disc radio?

Thank you,

Devin

I would like to do this as well. I have a separate six disc changer in the lower dash.

if you have a dvd player just buy a cord that goes into the red/white and then to a 3.5 mm. turn radio on, press cd aux, rse, then srce on the dvd player. plays an aux fine

Thats what I do now. May look into some sort of bluetooth to tie into those RCAs so the goofy cable goes away.

I have an '05 Z71 and i was looking for a solution just like you. Mine has the 6 CD changer and bose but no XM, so i thought I was without luck. I then found the iSimple IS31 on Amazon along with an RCA-to-Aux and it worked great. Sure, i had to get antenna adapters and "Add a circuit" to the fuse panel but it works amazing. Honestly the hardest part was drilling the whole for the aux jack to mount. Hope i helped!
