Hello everyone,
I have a 2000 Yukon Denali old body style and have not changed the radio yet (just can't find one I like yet)
so was doing so reading about adding a aux port or mp3 input to the factory radio in our trucks I owe credit to Jason Novak over at LS1 tech
http://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...add-aux-input-mp3-player-without-adapter.html
After a few pages I found someone that talked about wiring the input to the disc changer, so this is where I went for.
I removed the center console top and removed the disc changer to test the wiring. I found that the disc changer out put is orange/black for left and the lite green for the right, then lite blue for common ground. I used the same switch as Jason and everything still work just fine with the addition of the line in, just have to have a disc in the changer so the radio will switch over to it with you press the aux button.
Thank you
Matt
