Does anyone know why the right hand aux socket (the one with lighter in it) would be getting no power. Does it have a separate fuse and if so where would it be.

Too late. I was looking for an accessory socket fuse when lo and behold I came across a cig ltr fuse with, would you believe, no fuse in it. So fuse replaced and power prevails.
When I need something else I can answer myself i know where to go.
