Hey guys I'm new here and any input would be appreciated. I've got an 05 Yukon with auto ride suspension, you know the air suspension. It's four wheel drive but its got all wheel drive with 4 low, and not the usual Auto, 4 high, 4 low set up. I found a kit from RCD for a 6" lift, but according to some forums and sites there is vibration cuz the front drive shaft is always turning. The manufacturer said its 50/50. Any ideas or suggestions other than getting a new truck? And does anyone know how much it would be to rip out the AWD system and put the normal system in?

The only company that I know will warranty the lift kit is Skyjacker and their 3" kit. However, if you are willing to do some custom work most lifts can be used. When I last looked into it for my '06 Denali XL, the big difference is the Borg Warner transfer case. Non-Denali yukons have a case with an electric clutch connecting the front to the rear in 4 wheel drive. Denali's have an open differential constantly connecting the front to the rear. I called Borg Warner when I read that Procomp supplied a double cardon drive shaft if your Yukon had case model number 4482.http://www.procompusa.com/downloads/PDFs/is/51022.pdf
My Denali has a 4481. The engineer I spoke to explained the difference about the clutch but the actual case itself is identical to the standard yukon. The open diff prevents the mythical binding you hear about. It's impossible with 3 open diffs. http://www.justanswer.com/chevy/0jk3z-explination-wheel.html
Sorry for the long story.
The custom work comes in maintaining the stock shocks and ride control. If you have auto leveling and ride control (look for air hoses and wires on shocks) you can eliminate the fancy stuff or build/buy shock brackets to retain everything. Procomp is probable the best place to start if 6" is how high you want to go to minimize the custom work.
I however have decided not to invest the money in my '06 Nali. It's more of a family truck than my personal toy.
