I joined the forum a couple of years ago for some specific questions. After I got the advice I needed I kind of forgot about it. Some emails recently reminded me. I'm back because I enjoy being part of an online community, and this one seems to have the auxiliary benefits associated with the wealth of knowledge about my daily driver!

Speaking of... My vehicle is a 2001 GMC Yukon Denali. My parents bought it around 2004. I inherited it around 2008. It's an awesome vehicle. I hope in the next 2-3 years I'll be able to park it in my driveway for my small daily trips. I would like to keep my yukon as long as possible.

I've done a little work on it so far...

Changed the water pump with the help of a friend. That was a fun learning experience.

And I can't forget the double din head unit I NEVER should have installed... What a waste... Ended up spending about $900 only to have the car broken into a few months later and the head unit stolen. Thankfully there wasn't any serious damage done to the vehicle.

Most recently I payed Pep Boys about $500 to replace the O2 sensors.

I look forward to graduating college and being able to afford my own garage so I can do more work for myself! As you all know it's usually a matter of having the infrastructure at hand, because the knowledge is usually pretty easy to access on the web.

So I look forward to contributing more to the community!

Thanks for reading!
