Enough back pressure? Yes. More hp and mpg? Maybe better throttle response but probably negligible mpg gains

the length of your muffler has nothing to dowith backpressure..you can have a 40in muffler..if its a stright through design then theres no backpressure..you can have a 8in muffler and it be chamered to hell. Any mpg gain will be lost with you giving it more tghrottle to hear the new found power and exhaustr note. even if you babied it...dont do those mods to try and gain mpg's

i wont lie i do want a nicer sound out of it.. but i also thought my mpg would go up but as long as i dont lose any mpg i will still do it.. i wont mind the extra throttle for a little fun here n there

You shouldn't lose any MPG so I say do it. The reason some people lose MPG when doing this mod is cuz they love to hear the exhaust so much more after the mod that their foot is in the throttle more! :D

Well it all depends on how you want it to sound...theres tons of mufflers out there and everyone will just list thier favs.

x2 You've got a lot you can choose from. I'd suggest research via YouTube so that you can listen to different setups and choose based on what sound you like best.
