the mods actually improve MPG, i can say that fore SURE! did all the mods on my 08 Sierra and MPG improved by 3MPG over stock. Untill I got the 3k verter and lost the 3 in the city but highway stayed the same.
as far as exhaust, i run borla. I LOVE the tone. Nice "touring/performance" sound.
If you want noise, get an electric cut out... LOUD gets annoying, trust me, I KNOW!
