Backup camera is flickering on 2015 Yukon Denali

As the title says...... the backup camera on my 2015 Yukon Denali is flickering. I'm going into the dealer next week for routine maintenance, I have an extended warranty (with a deductible) but I'd just like to know if there is an easy fix for the camera??? Thanks

I’ve got the same problem going on. Truck only has 64,000 miles on it. Did you figure out what’s causing the issue?

Mine flickers at times but is rare. It'll also forget that it's in drive and go 20' before cutting back to main screen. Also notice it may look fuzzy at night when in reverse, but can put it in park and back into reverse and the image sharpens up. Seem like $#!+ quality if you ask me.

The cameras go bad. Buy an aftermarket from NAPA. Drill a hole on the left side of the lens in the center of plastic and at a 30 degree angle to the left. Insert a hooked probe and pull to the right. The camera pops out. There is a removable cover for the gate latch, take it off. Looking inside, you'll see the white camera connector, rea h deep inside and pull away from the metal. It doesn't take much force. Go back to the camera, disconnect the connector by squeezing the base towards the car. Install the new camera. Leave the connector loose, it doesn't affect anything.

Is there a need to reprogram anything if you replace the rear camera? Seems like everything else on these cars requires a re programming of some sort when replacing parts lol
