If I was in the market for a new HU, the Kenwood is a nice unit. But at this time I only need he camera. I already have a 7'' touch screen NAV unit.

it seems cool, single din install with a 7" removable screen.

Where is the OEM unit mounted?

The OEM one is mounted to the tailgate above the license plate on the 07+ models. I cut the plastic housing and installed it above the the trailer hitch. There is an empty space right there.
